Ecowise has proudly accepted an invite to assist SEP Properties, a commercial property development and investment company. This is ahead of the planned rollout to provide government-backed ECO4 energy efficiency funding.
SEP Properties is a Midlands-based family business founded in 1986 by Sukhdev Singh Sanghera and Harjinder Kaur Sanghera. It specialises in mixed-use retail-led schemes.
The company boasts more than £200m in capital and has more than 100 investments, as well as over 900 residential units.
Ecowise Installations is going to be advising SEP in a variety of energy efficiency areas.
Ecowise is able to draw on their deep knowledge of retail properties. This allows them to help clients implement projects with ease and without losing sight of details. The future is bright for Ecowise as they look forward to seeing the construction of more sites.
ECO stands for Energy Company Obligation. There have been four components.
This policy aims to increase the temperature of homes and reduce household emissions. Large energy companies are also held responsible for providing support services to income-restricted families through local authorities. ECO stands for energy conservation.
ECO aims to assist property owners and vulnerable households, while also being provided through referrals from local authorities. The ECO is subject to the primary legislation industrial strategy. It uses a whole-house approach to reduce fuel poverty through improved heating systems.
In 2013, the primary legislation that lists minimum energy efficiency requirements was launched. It has since helped more than 2.3 million households. The ECO4 was created to replace the ECO3.
Ecowise will help SEP to obtain the information and documentation needed to satisfy impact assessments that are based on government requirements. This assistance will provide suggestions for changes and scoring methods, as well as minimum requirements that will allow SEP to energy efficient measures.
